Welcome to
Lifton Community Academy is a vibrant community where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve well and become confident and independent young people. Children at Lifton receive an excellent start in our Fledglings Foundation Unit and this continues throughout the school as all staff create a happy, supportive and purposeful environment. We are strengthened and supported by being part of a wider community, the Learning Academy Partnership. As a Multi Academy Trust, we are a family of exceptional schools across Cornwall, Torbay and Devon who work together for the good of all our children and communities.
We have an exciting curriculum that excites and stimulates our children’s imaginations and creative thinking. At Lifton we enjoy fantastic outdoor learning and forest school areas that are utilised all year round. The children also experience sessions from expert forest school providers who teach our children. We believe that connecting with nature helps children feel part of the world. We know that a rich curriculum, along with a programme of extra-curricular activities act as a lever to enable children to achieve their potential.
