On Thursday 17th March we held our annual Science Day. All the pupils were split into 4 groups, each pupil took part in all of the following activities.
Skittles – Observe how Skittles change over time when warm water is added.
Hands – Measure hands and looking to see if there is a pattern between the size of hands and age.
Towers – Cutting out shapes from cardboard and using them to stack and build the tallest tower.
Penguins – Using different materials to build penguin nests (we looked at Gentoo Penguins) and finding out about the life cycle of Ducks.
